The Auburn Doubledays’ struggles with runners in scoring position continued Tuesday, and it led to their eighth loss in a row.
Auburn dropped a 3-2 contest to Batavia in a Fourth of July contest at Dwyer Stadium. The Doubledays finished 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position and left the tying runner on third base to end the game.
